Every effort is made to give a realistic evaluation of  each tools condition.

Fine     Fully usable, minimal wear and tear, no repair, like new
Good +     Fully usable, minor repairs, minimal rusting, minor dinks and scratches
Good Moderate wear for age, light rusting, minor dinks, Handle may be replaced
Fair  Reasonable condition for age
   

Additional information may be given in item description or on request, always happy to provide additional information or photo's.

Description of item condition is for guidance only, please remember, these items could be over 50+ years old, so they will display some elements of age, even if never used. They have been cleaned and inspected, the description will include any significant defects. No items would be offered if the defect reduces the effectiveness or use of the tool.

Purchasers are advised to attend training on the use of such tools, as no responsibility can be taken for injuries incurred while these tools are in use. It is good practice to inspect all tools before use, do not use if found to be faulty.

It is essential that training in the use of these tools is sought. This can be achieved through groups like BTCV, Agricultural colleges, Greenwood Centre, and Small woods Association plus many other local organisations.

 

Postage costs:

All prices include postage, packaging and recorded delivery for mainland United Kingdom,

Most parcels are now sent via UPS (Main bladed items) or Hermes, the main reason behind this is that most other couriers will not honor the insurance on bladed items. If found they will happily destroy the tool, leaving both parties seriously upset!  Once the item has left me, I can no longer be responsible for delay or loss, it is outside of my control. I will help recovering any insurance which has been taken out (please note this may take a little while to resolve)

Please also note I will recycle packaging, this not only reduces the cost to the purchaser but also helps to save the planet!

Happy to post worldwide, please contact for postage costs by surface and airmail. 

Once the item is collected I have little control over any delays. Sometimes oversea items can get delayed in Customs, which is outside both mine and the couriers control. I have experience delays of a few days to many weeks. So please beware of this prior to Ordering. Refunds cannot be issued until I have received this from the  courier for any lost items. There may also be additional fees to pay at customs, which would be down to the receiver to pay, note that delay may result in the item being destroyed or returned to sender - thus do not ignore correspondence from them.

NOTE

In most cases I only have one item of each, so please do not Order more than one using the PayPal method. In the event of two people Ordering the same item, it will be offered to the person with the earliest Order.

             

Payment details:

Payment can be made by PayPal, I can send an invoice if you would like to use this option. All tools to be paid for before shipping.

Alternatively you can send a cheque made payable to “Timeless Tools”. As soon as funds have cleared I will send the item, usually 5 days after cheque has arrived.

Please also note that I happy happy to part exchange/barter tools if this helps.

Reserving tools

 

I am happy to reserve items for 1 week while funds are sent, after which time they will then be re-listed as available. Sorry, this is due to customers reserving items and then not hearing from them, I am only a small enterprise and cannot afford to hold on to tools for any length of time.

Not happy with your purchase?

I would always recommend that you come and visit the stall at an event if you would like to purchase any of the tools, so you can look at them first. However, if you have purchased over the internet and it isn't how you expected, then please make contact via email of telephone, and I am sure something can be worked out (within 7 days of arrival). Oversea buyers, due to higher postage costs, please ensure you are happy before purchasing. Return postage costs to be met by buyer.

Please note that books/Catalogues are not returnable without good reason. This is due to them being read and then returned or scanned copy being made.
